Anti-Microbial Surface Protectant

The Anti-Microbial Surface Protectant forms a durable physical bond that, once applied, remains physically attached to the surface. The solution physically ruptures the bacteria or virus’ cellular structure by destroying its cell membrane upon contact, thus preventing its ability to survive on that surface as long as the surface protectant is present.

Surface Protection solutions are available in different sizes. For end customers in Ready To Use (RTU) formulation and for resellers and distributors in concentrate formulation.

NuProtection’s Anti-Microbial Surface Protectant is a Ready to Use (RTU) formula which requires no mixing or dilution. It can be sprayed or wiped onto a wide variety of substrates (refer to directions on label).

After applying treatment, the surface should be allowed to dry. Open windows or other means of ventilation to remove moisture from the area.

The product should be reapplied after heavy use or 90 days. To prevent streaking or spotting on glass or high sheen surfaces wipe excess product away before drying.

Application

The anti-microbial Surface Protectants are best applied using an Electrostatic Sprayer which adds small electric charge to the minute droplets of the spray. This has two main advantages:

  1. Helps to coat the surface evenly even on under surfaces.
  2. Attracts the virus because of its charge, thus improving effectiveness

We offer a range of Electrostatic Sprayers in a variety of sizes intended for venues of different sizes.

  • Hand held – ideal for small areas like cafes, restaurants and other smaller areas.
  • Shoulder / Backpack – Best for larger areas like factories, airports, office buildings, aircrafts and sports stadiums.
  • Wheel based – Intended for large area coverage like large outdoor parks, sports fields, etc.
  • Installed systems – Systems which are installed permanently in the venue, e.g. building entry tunnels, etc. where more frequent treatment is required.

Storage and Shelf Life:

When stored in original unopened containers between (0.5-43°C), the Anti-Microbial Surface Protectant has concentrate  shelf life of 12 months from the date of shipment. Since the material is moisture sensitive, keep containers tightly closed after each use.

Handling:

Wear appropriate personal protective equipment if electrostatic spraying or fogging, including but not limited to goggles face shield, respiratory protection.

First Aid:

Skin: Remove contaminated clothing. Flush affected areas with large quantities of water. Seek medical attention if irritation persists.
Eyes: Flush with large quantity of water with eyelids open. Seek medical attention.
Inhalation: If breathing becomes difficult remove victim to fresh air and monitor. Seek medical attention if symptoms persist.
Ingestion: Have victim drink large amounts of water. Seek medical attention immediately. Do not induce vomiting unless advised to do so by physician or Poison Control Centre.
